I agree with most of your assessments and pet peeves. I’m a little newer to twitter (joined in March), so haven’t yet accumulated quite the same “irritation level” on some of these. But really agree with you on the fb quizzes!

Thank you for posting this. I am also annoyed by the same things. Especially those Auto DMs. I usually find out after I construct a nice reply DM that the person is no longer following. Not nice.

What constitutes a lot of replies? A lot. A creepy amount. The amount that makes someone feel like they’re being stalked.

I am sensing some anger here. It could be possible that you need a little break from the computer. Between Twittering (just HAD to say it, besides, you can’t fire me) and Facebook (OK, I totally agree with you there), you are holding on to a lot of anger. I have to disagree on a couple of points…

I don’t think replying to someone a lot is stalking. What really constitutes a lot? I need to know so I can draw my line.

Follow Friday. How can you NOT love #FF??? It’s like a giant love fest on Twitter. Although, there are a few who take up the whole day FF’ing everyone in their list, OK, so yeah, that sucks.

You never mentioned the Twitter words like, ‘tweeple’, ‘tweeps’, ‘twitterverse’ and (the one that makes me giggle every time I say it…’twibe’… I feel like Elmer Fudd).

You will have to do a whole other post on Twitter words. Or start a Twitter Twibe.
